Day 1: Arrival and Farm Orientation

Upon Arrival:

Pick up 9 am at Chiang Mai Hang Dong Big C Mall and transfer to the mountain farm.

Welcome and introduction to the farm's history, goals, and eco-friendly practices.

Get settled into accommodations.

Afternoon:

Guided tour of the farm by David and Tinnakorn, exploring different cultivated areas and sustainable features.

Introduction to high-altitude farming techniques.

Evening:

Welcome dinner featuring local and farm-grown produce.

Day 2: Agroforestry, Permaculture, and Local Farming Experience

Morning:

Guided hike by Tinnakorn, David and Village leaders through the surrounding forest to observe native plants and trees.

Discussion on agroforestry systems and their benefits.

Afternoon:

Local Farming Experience:

- Visit nearby small holder farmers, Thai Royal Project, to learn about their farming practices.

- Participate in hands-on farming tasks, such as planting or harvesting.

Community sharing session with smallholder farmers, exchanging insights and experiences.

Evening:

Dinner featuring farm-fresh ingredients.

Free time for personal relaxation and reflection.

Day 3: Bamboo Basics and Farm-to-Table Experience*

Morning:

Breakfast featuring fresh farm produce.

Introduction to bamboo as a sustainable building material and its versatility, by Tinnakorn.

Afternoon:

Hands-on bamboo workshop: Learn about bamboo harvesting and preparation.

Cooking class focusing on traditional Thai dishes using farm-fresh ingredients.

Evening:

Dinner

Group discussion on the role of bamboo in sustainable construction.

Day 4: Bamboo Greenhouse Building

Morning:

Breakfast featuring fresh farm produce.

Hands-on activity: Building a bamboo greenhouse for sustainable farming.

Afternoon:

Continue the bamboo greenhouse building project.

Day 5: Smallholder Farmers Transformation and BBQ Dinner

Afternoon:

Collaborative projects with smallholder farmers:

- Work together on farming techniques or infrastructure improvements with Netafarm Maetho.

- Participate in a local trading or selling event to support smallholders.

Evening:

BBQ dinner, celebrating the trip's experiences.

Reflection and future-focused sharing session during the BBQ dinner.

Day 6: Shared Vision and Community Enrichment

Morning:

Farm-to-table breakfast.

Brainstorming session: Shared vision of Netacradle Cooperative and community enrichment.

Afternoon:

Check-out and transfer back to Chiang Mai for departure.

Throughout the program, integrate discussions, workshops, and practical activities that emphasize the interconnectedness of the forest ecosystem, local farming communities and sustainability.
